THE MOTHERHOOD CONNECTION

I’m Rachel — a birth and postnatal doula, antenatal educator, and mother of four.
My own experiences of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood are what first led me here. After navigating the highs, the uncertainties, and everything in between with my first two babies, I felt a deep pull to support other families as they step into this life-changing chapter.
Since 2020, I’ve worked as an antenatal and postnatal practitioner with the National Childbirth Trust, supporting hundreds of parents to prepare for birth and early parenthood with confidence. I hold a Foundation Degree in Birth & Beyond and bring a calm, evidence-based and nurturing approach to everything I do.
Through my doula work, I offer personalised, continuous support during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, creating space for you to feel heard, supported and truly cared for.
Alongside this, I run local parent and baby classes across Manchester, including baby massage and outdoor nature-based sessions, gently supporting families to connect, slow down and build community in those early months.
Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating the early days with your baby, or simply looking for support along the way - you don’t have to do this alone.
